From the mountains of Western North Carolina, Dancing Dragonfly Pottery offers fine wheel thrown porcelain wares for daily utilitarian use. Troy Amastar's designs are inspired by nature and all her decorating is done by hand. No stamps or stencils are used. Each leaf is painted and carved. Each dot and dragonfly wing is applied with skill and patience. All of Troy's glazes are hand measured and mixed.
Dancing Dragonfly Pottery is designed to beautify your home environment as well as feel wonderful in your hands. Troy's customers often come back for more, explaining that her piece became their favorite to use over any others they had! Some have even sworn their coffee or tea tasted better from one of her mugs. What they are actually tasting is the love and care Troy puts into her pottery, as well as her wish that people's lives be enhanced as they enjoy her pieces every day.
There is a full line of work to choose from. Troy offers mugs, bowls, plates, cream and sugars, spoon rests, planters, vases and more in varied sizes, shapes, colors and patterns. Choose from her patterns of dragonflies, colorful leaves, green leaves, dots or stripes. The colorful leaf and dragonfly designs come in 2 celadon color choices of aqua and gold.
All work is microwave and dishwasher safe. Realize that the hand made nature of the pottery will have slight variations in size and shape. Please allow 3-7 days for items in stock and 1-4 weeks for items not in stock within the continental U.S. Look for additional items and designs in the future! And enjoy! |
